Record Breaker in 2013, 2014, 2015 and yet again in 2016
Keith has been based at Belstane Racing Stables in Carluke, since taking out a license in February 2011. Situated in the beautiful countryside of South Lanarkshire, a privately owned 80 box yard with first-class facilities – enabling peak fitness. As a jockey Keith had tasted group 1 success from an early age, notching up nearly 300 winners – yet to retire at just 21.
The talent and determination is being replicated as a trainer, just starting his 3rd season’s in and the impressive stat’s speak for itself – 15% strike-rate, 110 winners, nearly 260 placed horses & earned well over £300,000 in prize money. Keith had a fabulous first season where he guided ‘Stonefield Flyer’ to a 2nd place at Royal Ascot, his noteable talent to improve horses ratings and ensure their full potential is reached, examples of this is ‘Tommy Docc’ winner over 5f on the all weather to 2nd place in the Queens Vase at Royal Ascot the same year. Salvatore Fury’ from OR 53 to 83 on the All Weather and win number 8 to his name.Keith gave Prestige Thoroughbred Racing our proudest moment in racing when Natures Law gave us our first ever win and we stand at 18 winners in 2016 with many runner still to come.
Keith Dalgleish had an amazing 3rd year in which he broke the Scottish record for the number of winners trained in Scotland and Prestige Syndicates are thrilled to have given Keith over 14% of those winners in 2013. In 2014 Keith took another major step forward when he broke his own record from 2013. Now in 2016 the team at Belstane continue to smash their own records for the amount of winners trained in Scotland. He is one of the best young trainers in the UK, and we are proud to have Keith taking our racehorses to the next level.
